This always cracks me up. The whole raison d’être for going electric is to prevent the earth warming up a degree in 100 years. Therefore we must stop using fossil fuels to power our cars and switch to EVs and energy from sun and wind.
But physics still teaches us the universal truth F = MA. Moving a big, heavy EV 0 - 60 in two seconds requires a LOT of F which takes a lot of energy to produce.
If these people really cared about the environment, they wouldn’t be producing such “kWh guzzling” cars.
That said, this is a cool car!

I’ve been waiting for someone else to say that. All these pinheads talking about EVs saving the Earth first talk about the massive acceleration they get.
As an engineering concept, this is truly a marvel. But there has to come some sort of trade-off, as there cannot be very many quick accelerations or very high achieved velocity before the batteries are literally sucked dry, perhaps never to be recharged. Managing the excess heat alone from these spectacular performance figures puts quite a crimp in the honesty of their claims.
Now if they have some kind of supercapacitor that can release its stored energy is something like a modulated manner, MAYBE all this power could be harnessed. But again, thermodynamics continues to rear its head, and it can be like the mythical hydra, with many heads. Each one ready to strike out and kill you dead.
