Oh, dear God. Stories like this make we wonder about this country’s future. If the languages weren’t so hard, I’d move to Poland or the Czech Republic.
Cockrell, 20, was located around 9 p.m. in Nevada by the Nevada Highway Patrol and taken into custody on a warrant for attempted murder.
He had his bail set at $1 million.

I’m for gun rights as much as possible, but you don’t chase people down the mallway shooting a gun at them for shoplifting.

The girl, Ava, was taken to the Loma Linda University Medical Center, down the Cajon Pass from Victorville, where the shooting occurred. That’s a good distance away. The High Desert has hospitals and medical facilities, but frankly none that can provide the level of trauma care, surgery, and specialists as can LLUMC. Thank God for that one positive.

Morally I see nothing wrong with shooting a fleeing shoplifter but one must “know the target and what is behind it” before shooting.
We’ll the girl is not dead but I agree with you that you don’t have a right to use a gun in this manner. It’s recklessness.
I suggest that first you know the law.
