Yep, and good observation. Surface combatants are not so good in the large missile arena. And I would guess as an older ship, it has very limited, if any, decent missile defense.
The next question, if this is true, how the Russians will respond. Everything goes in war for either side, but this was upping the ante. Wonder of the Russians will see this and raise them somehow?
The first thing that occurs to me is targeting the convoys bringing in weapons from NATO. I just don’t see it going unanswered.
Turkey also has a card to play. They own the Dardanelles.
It has been claimed, on this forum, they were already being targeted and interdicted, before the Moskva strike.
The demise of the Moskva may put a real crimp in the Russian air defenses for the area...
