If that were the case, then everyone who makes poor choices in life is mentally ill. That would mean that all/most of us are mentally ill.

So you are one of those people who think it is a choice? Think about it. Would YOU choose that? I am a male, and I’ll tell you that there is no way I would choose to get with some big hairy guy. The very idea is revolting to me. How could ANY “normal” person choose that?
