Yikes!

Reminds me of a scene in the Larry Niven/Jerry Pournelle book Lucifer’s Hammer where surfers were riding the tsumani created by the meteor strike.

I read that many years ago. Pretty good book.

PS: I am a child of the mid '60s myself.
