Her expression appears jaded like she is asking...”Yeah bud, what’ll ya have?” She doesn’t look exploited to me!

My class looked at this painting in ARt Appreciation in high school. The main impression we got was that the poor woman was worn out, look at the size of the crowd in the mirror, that is a serious rush of customers.

Yeah i guess I can see that...I used the term “jaded” in terms of being “world weary”, some what cynical and wanting to stay somewhat disconnected from the customer she’s serving.”Hey, bud what’ll ya have...? or expressions like it are heard all over the world in any bar no matter the language or the country...and the look from the bartender is always the same at 1 am in the morning in what ever country.Just my opinion... worth only the 2 bucks it takes to get coffee from mickey d’s.
