We're silent about claims of Ukrainian corruption because they're irrelevant. The Clinton Foundation also got a lot of money from Putin and US foreign service officers have been retiring upward into think tanks funded by foreign powers like the Saudis for decades.

There's nothing specific to Ukraine or especially large about Ukrainian purchases of US influence to distinguish it from many other foreign powers, and the purchased influence of China probably outweighs all the others put together.

So the constant harping about Ukrainian corruption is essentially meaningless bleating.

I think the deals made with Russia were made to benefit Russia’s standing and security—Hillary’s Uranium deal , for example, seems only to have hurt us.

I don’t see how Ukraine’s transactions have done any thing but drain resources and wealth into the pockets of a few. Compare the average wages between the two nations, even with higher prices Russia enjoys a higher standard of living. You would expect the one located closer to the west to be thriving.
