For instance, why hasn’t anyone asked the two participants, the producers, the cameramen, AMPAS to confirm or deny that the alleged assault was scripted/blocked/rehearsed...?

To confirm or deny whether or not any of the participants has signed an NDA relating to the alleged assault.

Inquiring minds want to know.

And, so far, the silence speaks volumes.

BTW, NDAs are null and void in the event the activities covered by the contract are illegal.

I’d argue fraud counts.
