As far as pop culture dancing and singing, many of their ethnicity have outstanding talent that helped the Civil Rights struggle in the 50s and 60s more than political actions did. It's also true of individuals in some of the finer arts, like gospel and chorale singing, opera, and well-produced dancing for stage and movies. The same excellent hair-trigger responses that make them exceptionally adept musicians, sports players and dancers are the upside of the hair-trigger violence responses by other individuals in the demographic.
