In the organic Constitution, We The People listed 19 specific things they could do, under God's Law. In the mid-1800's the US took on a CORPORATION overlay of the Constitution, where the 'selected' were beholden no longer to The People, but to the Corporation under Admiralty Law. That's why the original Art. 1 § 8 of 19 things has ballooned today to more than 6000 things (at last count).

No wonder they think we are stupid. That same kind of thing pissed off Trump, if you watch his 1987 interview with Larry King, he references just that kind of thing.
