Again... you were among those absolutely sure Kiev was going to fall easily. It didn’t. In fact the Russian invasion has been rolled back. You still seem to be pursuing this mindset that the Ukes are just going to roll over. It’s not happening. Putin will probably be able to successfully occupy an eastern sector of Ukraine, but that’s far, far short of what he believed he’d achieve.
I was wrong. There was sufficient force to take it, but my guess is that the decision was made not to let the Ukrainians turn it into another Mariupol.
