What is stunning about spring crops?
Or did they mean stunting spring crops?
Farmers around here will say both.
Cold will stun crops ... they’ll turn yellow, quit growing until it warms up again ... and later they might be stunted from the earlier set-back.
Not good for the fruit crops.
