It became funny again when Eddie Murphy was on the show. And there was a brief recovery in the Norm MacDonald/Phil Hartmann/Victoria Jackson years. But since then, it’s been abysmal and unfunny.

Agreed and they are still living off of those memories. The Obama and now Biden administrations were/are a target rich environment for that show but instead they have decided to go in the opposite direction. If they showed any modicum of fairness and humor with good writers I’d probably still be watching.
