We are increasingly seeing a new term being used by thinking writers when it comes to both global and national politics. What is it, and how should we look at it?
The term The Big Picture basically answers the question: “If we continue to follow this societal, economical, and cultural path, where do we end up as a society?” In reverse, you can use the concept to define the desired end state and work backward to see the necessary steps to attain it.
There are two Big Pictures at play in America today, and they are totally incompatible.
I call the first Big Picture A, or “Individual Freedoms.” It follows the concepts of our Founders and Constitution, which built our prosperous society. The individual is the smallest unit and has full sets of rights and manifold freedoms. It is a bottom-up society, where the individual votes upwards to the state level, with the states retaining their federated constitutional rights of control. This is how America was designed and has operated for 250 years.
Maintaining that framework produces free-market capitalism, private property rights, and the guarantee of all our freedoms listed in the Bill of Rights, especially speech, assembly, and petition.
The second, Big Picture B, or “Totalitarian Socialism,” follows the concepts of socialism, Marxism, and progressivism, where the smallest unit of society is the group identity and where all power is concentrated at the top in the hands of elites in a totalitarian structure. Individuals have no meaningful rights, including private property, speech, and petition, and must comply with the diktats of the elites or be shunned from society, if not outright killed as history demonstrates.
SNIP
Big Picture B requires a total collapse of America’s society, economy, and government structure. Note how everything they do drives towards this collapse.

I’ll take my coffee with no marxism, please.
I'll take my Marxists with no pulse, please.
We need a new source of fertilizers thanks to President Silly Putty.
The Big Picture isn’t about America, it’s about the world.
Free people cannot be permitted to exist anywhere because their unequivocal success undermines the promise of the Marxist utopia.
We have those who see the big picture in black and white and those that see it in rainbow colors. Perspective is being changed through a constant drone of liberal media and socialist indoctrination.
I wonder what it like to try disciplining an army of recruits with absolutely no discipline training at home or in school. I would like to hear some stories from drill instructors.
I’d like an opposition party.
One without progressives like Amnesty Senators Grahamnesty, Cornyn, Tillis, Lankford, Rubio and Hoeven.

Not to push any company, but addresses the idea. (Geico commercial, always )
R. Lee Ermey, the greatest :-) I went through knob year at The Citadel in 1967 when hazing was considered an art form. I wrestled at 138 pounds back then. Just went to our 50th class reunion and was reminded of having an exhausted fat classmate thrown on by back while we were doing pushups in the shower room with all the hot water steaming the place up. Fun Times!
Speaking about Utopian ideas, may I suggest a book by William J. Murray. William (Bill) Murray is the son of Madelyn Murray O’Hare and the book is a concise, historical review of Maxist,Socialist and power-obsessed utopians. Most of the information you already know but it is so beneficial to have it presented in clear, precise linear form. Written in 2015, his account is phophetic and gives the clearest, most enlightening account of what is happening, who is driving it and where it will end. William is a born again devoted Christian who overcame a horrific childhood to become a Baptist minister in service to God and his country
The move to Big Picture B could well lead to a violent revolution akin to the French Revolution with all its excesses.
Big picture A, individual freedom, requires that people have the right to act according to their own goals, and favor the well being of those they care about most, over those they care about less.
There are a number of people who regard themselves as conservatives, who are really Big Picture B adherents, as they cannot accept granting individuals the right to not care about issues they care deeply about. They just want Big Picture B powers for themselves, and their desired goals.
They want us dead. They don’t want compromise or debate.

Major policies of liberals are contrary to Scripture and have the devil as their author.
