Tootie. What else could it be?

Having never watched that show, I didn't remember Tootie from anything.   I was overseas when it aired and as it continued after that I worked shift work and had a real life to get busy with.

So what else could it be?   "Tootie" could have been a longshoreman from Liverpool, or a gay barista from Miami.   A featured Whale at Sea Life Aquarium, or Aunt "Tootie" Grindle from North Carolina.   I actually had no idea, and I even usually pride my self in knowing twentieth century allusions, but hey...
