We’ve been using title 42 to throw some back over the border, nothing else is allowed by Biden’s (non) enforcement policies (not federal law).
Abbott had organized law enforcement to imprison crossers for acts against Texas law. Some Sherriffs complained it wasn’t their job and didn’t cooperate. I’m not sure if the federal government got involved, but they probably did.
Border Patrol works for DHS and if they don’t follow the directions they lose their job. Maybe prosecuted.
Other than Texas actually going into a war with this federal government, what do you suggest?
