I used to do that too. When the store had something on sale and I had a coupon. I’d get it. For pennies.
Sales and coupons were in the Sunday paper.

I found a tub of old papers, etc., buried in the garage, the other day.

There was a ‘section’ of grocery store coupons...that was an inch thick...from ONE paper.

Nowadays, the coupons (in our grocery mail flyers) are maybe 6 pages, total.
