1) On July 24, 2016, Clinton campaign manager Robbie Mook publicly suggested for the first time that Russia was somehow helping Trump.
During an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Mook claimed that the Russian government was behind the release of a trove of DNC emails.
2) On July 28, 2016, CIA Dir John Brennan briefed Obama on a Clinton plan to tie Trump to Russian election interference “as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.
3) In the weeks that followed the FBI’s July 31, 2016 opening of its Crossfire Hurricane investigation, Brennan took a number of actions that were intended to actively reinforce the basic premise behind Clinton’s plan—that Russia was interfering in the election to help Trump.
4) One of the first actions Brennan took occurred on Aug. 4, 2016, when he suddenly warned Russia’s FSB head Alexander Bortnikov not to engage in U.S. election interference.
Brennan later claimed that he “was the first U.S. official to brace Russia on this issue.”
5) Brennan then started a series of briefings to Congressional Gang of Eight.
Brennan testified that “in consultation with the White House, I personally briefed the full details of our understanding of Russian attempts to interfere in the election to congressional leadership.”
6) Brennan’s message was remarkably similar to Clinton’s plan:
“Russia’s goals were to undermine public faith in the U.S. Democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton and harm her electability and potential presidency. And to help President Trump’s election chances.”
7) After Brennan’s briefing, House leader Harry Reid sent a letter on Aug. 27, 2016, to FBI Dir. Comey claiming that “the evidence of a direct connection between the Russian government and Donald Trump’s campaign continues to mount,” calling for a public investigation.
8) On Aug. 30, House Democrats began, writing to Comey asking him to investigate Trump–Russia collusion and if “connections between Trump campaign officials and Russian interests may have contributed to these attacks in order to interfere with the U.S. presidential election.”
9) As Dems publicized Brennan’s claims, Clinton publicly accused Russia of interfering in the U.S. election on Sept. 5, 2016, implying that Putin “viewed a victory by Donald J. Trump as a destabilizing event that would weaken the United States and buttress Russian interests.”
10) On Sept. 7, 2016, two days after Clinton’s claims, Brennan sent a memo regarding Clinton’s plan to vilify Trump to FBI Director Comey & Peter Strzok.
Rather than open an investigation into the Clinton campaign, the FBI continued with its investigation of the Trump campaign.
11) One week after Brennan’s memo to the FBI, Steele prepared a sequence of memos at the direction of Fusion on Sept. 14, 2016.
One of the three memos referenced Alfa Bank.
On this same day, Sussmann met personally with Joffe in the offices of Perkins Coie.
12) The following day, Marc Elias exchanged emails with three Clinton advisers—communications director Palmieri, campaign manager Mook, and foreign policy adviser Sullivan—regarding the Alfa Bank allegations.
Sussmann had also recently shared the Alfa info w/The New York Times.
13) Four days later, on Sept. 19, 2016, Sussmann held a private meeting with James Baker, the FBI’s general counsel.
Sussmann provided Baker with a large amount of data, telling Baker that he had been approached by “multiple cyber experts” concerning the Alfa Bank allegations.
14) At the same time Sussmann was meeting with the FBI, Steele was being directed by Fusion GPS to meet with the media—including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Yahoo News, which were all verbally briefed by Steele on his dossier.
15) We now have definitive proof of the lengths & actions taken by the corporate media to collude w/Fusion & the DNC’s Narrative - beginning at least as early as May 2016:
16) During this same period, at Brennan’s urging, the Intelligence Community began its efforts to build a narrative that Russia was interfering in the 2016 election.
17) On Oct. 7, 2016, the Intelligence Community issued a joint statement that claimed confidence that Russia “directed the recent compromises of emails … including from US political organizations.”
18) Brennan’s actions to establish a narrative of Russian interference would become more significant as he was about to embark on his creation of the Intelligence Community Assessment.
The ICA would become the cornerstone of the false allegation that Trump colluded with Russia.
19) Allegations regarding Alfa Bank would gain national attention on Oct. 31, 2016, when 3 separate articles were published.
Sent at the very same time - in tightly coordinated fashion - was a tweet from Hillary w/a pre-prepared statement from Sullivan...

What an excellent, well laid out timeline...of the Clinton/DNC cabal Russia hoax activities.
You would think something could come of this, this corruption of the highest order.
Sure hoping so.
#Soon needs to be #Now!!
Thanks for posting the timeline, LG.
Remember also in Oct, 2016 they dropped the pussy tape and thought between that and the Russia, Russia hoax, Trump was going to step down as the GOP candidate.
In the GOP, Pence and Ryan were poised to replace Trump.
But Trump fought back.
Thank you for this outstanding timeline. I remember so clearly watching CNN the night Robbie Mook was on with his phony accusations about Trump and Russia. Several times Mook used the expression “experts say” It just sounded so fishy. It was the first time I recalled hearing that used instead of …. sources close to etc. for simply made up statements.
