This week I was in the US to tape two episodes of Tucker Carlson's daytime show, which allows far more in-depth discussion than night-time cable permits. The first episode aired this morning.
Here's part of our discussion of the implications of Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter: pic.twitter.com/pPgNJVXtII— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) April 27, 2022
Here's the second part of this excerpt: regarding the massive backlash Musk would face -- if his vows to restore free speech are genuine -- from a union of the most potent Western power centers that now centrally rely upon the repressive regime of internet censorship they built: pic.twitter.com/pw37qfX9R9— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) April 27, 2022
I saw a thread on this yesterday but thought it must be misinformation, because it seems irresponsible to me.
Thoughts?
“It is being reported that it will be years before Raytheon Technologies can build new Stinger shoulder-fired missiles due to a dwindling supply of weapons parts, the company’s CEO said Tuesday.
The U.S. has shipped Stingers to Ukraine’s military, which has used them to shoot down Russian aircraft. But there’s only a finite supply as Raytheon has not made Stinger missiles for the U.S. military in nearly two decades.
“We’re going to have to go out and redesign some of the electronics in the missile and the seeker head,” Raytheon Technologies CEO Greg Hayes told investment analysts Tuesday during the company’s quarterly earnings call. “That’s going to take us a little bit of time.”
OBSERVATIONS - Concerns are being raised over the depletion of war stockpiles of this and other munitions, like the Javelin ATGM system.”

When fraud is involved, there is no statute of limitations.
If true, then MY thought is….why the heck are we sending (depleting) our own supply of military equipment, to Ukraine/elsewhere, then?? 😡

Some weapons’ shelf life is less than 10 years. They need to use or destroy them. The USA always use them.
Where is that?
An “Effectively managed” border, in the opinion of the Biden administration, might mean that they have found a way to get invaders through the border and into the heartland of the United States very fast so that there aren’t people piling up waiting to get across the border.
The evil Dems do not care about our constitutional republic or it’s citizens. People who consume only propaganda media probably have no idea that about 2 million people crossed our southern border illegally in 2021 with even more coming now.
And where will all this weaponry wind up? In whose hands?
Remember Libya?
All those weapons wound up in the hands of ISIS.
And let’s not forget how the foreign aid is a scam where a percentage returns back to the politicians.
After all, it is an election year, campaigns cost a lot of money.
I can see the criminal Zelensky selling off any arms he gets to the nazis and islamists.....gotta keep that money coming in, plus whatever comes off the top for the DS.

Surprised to learn that Kamala Harris who is asymptomatic, healthy, and quadruple vaccinated is getting Paxlovid, a drug reserved for high-risk patients per the FDA label.

It is astonishing how severe the suppression of free thought was during the #TwitterDarkDays. Now I get tens of thousands of likes per tweet, and gained over 50,000 followers just yesterday alone. Hard to imagine the effect of this level of suppression on the 2020 election.

Former President Donald Trump has appealed a New York judge’s decision to hold him in contempt of court and fine him $10,000 per day for failing to adequately respond to a subpoena issued in the civil investigation into his business dealings.
That’s what I thought, it has to be misinformation? But, that is happening all the time with this regime (they can’t be that dumb). Or maybe these weapons aren’t that important?

BINGO!
He already knows how many billions each month he needs to rebuild and the war isn’t even over yet.

“By many accounts these shipments of weapons like the Javelin anti-tank missile (jointly manufactured by Raytheon and Lockheed Martin) are getting blown up as soon as they arrive in Ukraine. This doesn’t bother Raytheon at all. The more weapons blown up by Russia in Ukraine, the more new orders come from the Pentagon.
Former Warsaw Pact countries now members of NATO are in on the scam as well. They’ve discovered how to dispose of their 30-year-old Soviet-made weapons and receive modern replacements from the US and other western NATO countries.
While many who sympathize with Ukraine are cheering, this multi-billion dollar weapons package will make little difference. As former US Marine intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on the Ron Paul Liberty Report last week:
“I can say with absolute certainty that even if this aid makes it to the battlefield, it will have zero impact on the battle. And Joe Biden knows it.”
What we do see is that Russians are capturing modern US and NATO weapons by the ton and even using them to kill more Ukrainians. What irony. Also, what kinds of opportunities will be provided to terrorists, with thousands of tons of deadly high-tech weapons floating around Europe? Washington has admitted that it has no way of tracking the weapons it is sending to Ukraine and no way to keep them out of the hands of the bad guys.”

Thank you for posting. That 2nd part was very good, he’s up against the biggest cabal in the world.

The USA use missiles or drops the bomb. Stringers are used to destroy planes or helicopters (heat-seeking objects). These weapons are indirectly used against USSR/Russia. Very effective. Stringers were used by the Taliban against Soviet Invasion. Later the USA bought back leftovers. Shelf life is between 15-and 20 yrs.
