ALL ABOARD!
Well, that sure sounds good! I love avocado toast…especially on sourdough. Will have to try with a slice of tomato!
I’ll have to skip the hot sauce, today. Had too much on our street tacos, last night.
Good morning neighbor!
Hello from the desert SW. It’s a beautiful day in the valley. We have the doors and windows wide open, and the air is refreshing, especially considering that my brother normally keeps the house shut up and the thermostat set at 76, which makes it feel stuffy inside... until one steps outside that is, when the temperature is approaching 100.
Cooking up red and yellow bell peppers, with white onions and yellow potatoes for a breakfast dish to go along with sausage patties and poached eggs.
Kudos to all who post here and especially to those who post the keen research found on various sewers online!
Today is the 7th week, post-crash, and I am finally laying down to sleep at night, as opposed to sitting up with a stack of pillows behind my back. The tradeoff is that my body weight does battle with my cracked ribs and I wake up sore as heck in the morning from the constant pressure that is exhibited upon them throughout the night. Prior to this small victory, I would lay down, but as the minutes ticked by, the pressure and pain would build until I couldn’t stand it any longer, and I would seek relief by sitting up to sleep.
One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
Goodnight Mrs. Callabash, wherever you are.
We have ourselves a Trump Rally today! ALL ABOARD! Woot! Woot!
Don’t forget the bacon!
Buttigieg floats ‘monthly transportation payment’ that ‘covers everything’ to replace car payments
“What I mean by that is if we’re looking way out into the future, where we have things like, let’s imagine distributed energy generation where you have resources at your house, whether it’s a dramatically more efficient, even solar panels and wind resources,” Buttigieg said Wednesday at an event hosted by the liberal think tank New America.
“From your home, you can put more into the transportation system than you get out of it through things like energy, so that you would participate in creating so much value that you’d actually get a net dividend on it, instead of paying into it on a net basis,” he added. “Now, that’s pretty far out.”
A “more intermediate goal” in the U.S. would be transitioning from monthly car payments to a “monthly transportation payment that’s quite a bit less than a car payment that covers everything,” said Buttigieg, a Democratic presidential candidate in 2020.
Oh, yeah!! Can’t forget the bacon.
That’s actually a full meal, all in one.
I like!
Wishing you a quick, full recovery!
SHERIFF ENCOURAGES CITIZENS TO SHOOT HOME INTRUDERS: ‘WE PREFER THAT YOU DO, ACTUALLY’
In a press conference on Thursday, reports The Blaze, Johnson briefed the media on the recent arrest of a one Brandon Harris, who Johnson described as a “frequent flyer” with a rap sheet going back to when he was only 13 years old.
Apparently, Harris decided to go on a string of home burglaries. At one home, a resident opened fire on Harris. Sadly, the homeowner was a terrible shot and didn’t hit Harris. He did scare Harris away, though. Undeterred, Harris went to yet another home, where he would be apprehended by law enforcement.
During his press conference, Johnson told citizens, “If somebody is breaking into your house, you’re more than welcome to shoot at them in Santa Rosa County. We prefer that you do, actually. […] [I]f somebody’s breaking into your house, you’ve got all the right in the world to defend yourself. Of course [Harris] didn’t get hit, and now we’ve gotta pay for him.”

FL Sheriff.
FL is showing the way.
HELLO FRiend!
Long time no see!
I am happy to report that I am bouncing back from my crash and life is good!
In fact, I am going bowling tonight with my brother and several of his coworkers. I will be using caution in my motions but if things work out, I’ll use the event as a form of physical therapy.
One indication of my healing progress occurred a couple of weeks ago when my brother and I took a utility trailer full of landscape rock from out of his front yard and transported it to the landfill. It turns out the load was 9,000 lbs! One minor hiccup... the trailer was only rated for 1,500 lbs! Ouch! My brother will be buying his friend a new axle, seeing how we bent it somewhat in the process.
The positive aspect was that I personally shoveled about 4,500 lbs of rock without a deleterious effect on my body, which signaled to me that I was healing up just fine.
I will be heading back up into the Sierra National Forest, in a few weeks, weather permitting. The resort was recently sold and the new owners are financially able to make abundant improvements on the resort to everyone’s benefit. Morale is high!
ALL ABOARD! Woot! Woot!
Glad you continue getting better, each day.
That was one heck of a bump you took.
Laying down in bed IS a treat, after what you’ve been through.
Howdy!
Sounds like you are slowly healing but it’s going to take a lot longer but glad you are making progress.
The winds up here have been fierce, keeping the temps down but driving the 2 big fires in the state.
FIRES!!!! Yikes!!!! I don’t even want to think about it.
Thank YOU FRiend!
I know others here have shared in their own recoveries (and iniquities) AND to everyone’s benefit (and credit), we are all still here plugging away on the Trump Train, as one big mostly happy “family”!
it reminded of that swill they peddle from Starbucks.
Yep! Who among us ever imagined you could get Wokesters, Millennials, Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha
to pay up to $5 and more for a cup of bitter coffee that tastes like burnt tree bark?
Since the courts aren’t doing anything with these repeat offenders except letting them go to offend again, I think this is an excellent option.
Someone needs to stop these perps!
Thank you for the positive health update. I’m particularly warmed by the news that you will be returning to the Sierra resort and under improving conditions!
Wish you were closer to my neck of the woods as I’m looking to buy some landscape rock for a section of my backyard. Planning to put some raised beds back there to plant a small garden.
We are all in various stages of decay, so we soldier on as best we can to the glory of God. My kidneys are failing but so far a sliver away from dialysis. I can’t imagine much worse than having to spend four hours a day hooked to a machine. So let’s pray for each other FRiend and enjoy each day as it comes.
And today we’ll enjoy a Trump Rally! WOOT WOOT!
As the patient, I wanted to heal faster than I have been, but the nature of things being what it is, has its own time frame.
I am MOST fortunate to be in the place that I am in and can heal at the necessary pace I’ve been healing at... which is to say that I am basically just laying around the shack (till the mail train comes back) and haven’t reinjured myself by pushing too hard or too fast because I had to go back to work in order to support a family or leave prematurely because patience had grown thin and “time was up”.
Speaking of patience, my brother has the patience of a saint and I do dearly love and appreciate him for everything he’s done to help and support me in my time of need.
Background: Once upon a time, many moons ago and in a land far far away, I was a single parent at the age of 28, and my “wild” 15-year-old brother came to live with me and my 5-year-old son. I helped my brother graduate high school (only 2 siblings out of 6 in my family did so) by taking him in from a bad situation that he was in at the time, and more or less raised him like a son, and now- he is in a position to return the good deed to me.
An awesome character, that brother of mine!
🚨 NEW: Joe Biden's poll numbers in OREGON 🚨

Democrat Governor Kate Brown:

That brother of yours is an “awesome character” because you showed him the way.
So glad you have each other.
