He should have just done it, and surprised the hell out of everyone in DC.
By announcing it, the DC and Capitol Police will now intercept and re-direct the busses, and they will never get there.
Don’t say what you are going to do—JUST DO IT!

DeSantis also should not be giving advance notice of sending illegals to DE.

I agree. I think it’s a game. They announce some action get a letter from the Justice department, lawsuit may or may not filled, but that kicks the can down the road and the governor can claim he tried. This goes for DeSantis bussing illegals too.

And, as I read, last night….it’s VOLUNTARY! The illegals flooding in our TX border - who are PRIMARILY younger men - get to decide for themselves if they want to get on that chartered (paid by the taxpayer) bus, or flight, to DC.

Whataburger biscuit calorie check leads to Texas teen’s arrest
A Wichita Falls, Texas, teen is in custody on drug and gun charges after authorities said they smelled something other than just fast food in the Whataburger drive-thru.
According to the affidavit, two investigators with the Drug Enforcement Division of the Wichita County District Attorney’s Office were at the Whataburger on Central Freeway Tuesday morning.
The affidavit said one investigator walked to the drive-thru menu to “check the calorie count of a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit” because the lobby was closed.
The affidavit said the investigator smelled the strong odor of marijuana coming from a car in the drive-thru.
According to the affidavit, authorities pulled the car over as it was exiting the drive-thru. When an investigator asked the driver, later identified as Meadows, how much marijuana was in the car, Meadows allegedly replied, “this much” and handed authorities a joint that was still burning.
The joint later tested positive for marijuana, police say.
Authorities then conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle, at which time Meadows let authorities know there may be a gun in the car, because his sister had a license to carry.
According to the affidavit, authorities did find a black Glock underneath the driver’s seat of the car.

Thanks for the definition. Yeah hyperinflation has rarely occurred. I remember reading in the Weimar Republic people would get paid at the end of the day and go and spend it immediately because the next day it would be worth less. And they didn’t want to wait 2 weeks for a paycheck, they needed it daily.
Poor doggie. And here I was concerned the dog might hurt the chicks.
