Governor Abbot could have put 24 hour a day traffic cameras many places along the border so that Americans could look at what was happening at any time of the day or night. He could still do this but does not seem to want to.
I bet that many Americans have no idea what is happening at our border unless their own neighborhood is impacted. The propaganda media is certainly not going to give any broadcast minutes or column inches to this invasion.
When the caravans were coming up through Central America and Mexico, the propaganda media was happy to broadcast hours and hours about it in order to blame Trump. Now... crickets.
