Our justice system at times doesn’t seem very just.

These 2 got 1 year sentences for stealing secrets from US firms and sending to Taiwanese firms (although Chinese business was also mentioned) worth $101,000,000.

Yet in the lives of average Americans these can possibly put you away for a year: Slapping an old person Having a bong near a school smoking a joint near a school Driving with an expired license Driving drunk Driving a boat with a suspended license Driving too fast in a work zone (in certain states)

Best of all…Simple Theft (steal a toaster out of someone’s house)

Other simple crimes have even worse punishments (ex 10 years for transporting an assault rifle across some state lines—not even using it in a crime just moving it)

Wish we had equal justice regardless of a persons racial, social status or political position.
