All foreign leased aircraft still in Russia after the termination of Western leasing contracts have been entered into the Russian aircraft register and will remain in Russia, Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Borisov said on Thursday.

The imposition of sanctions by Western powers in response to Russia's military campaign in Ukraine forced Western leasing firms to terminate leasing contracts with Russian airlines for more than 500 aircraft. More than 400 of these are still in Russia.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a way for the rightful owners to disable the avionics remotely.”

Russians know how to build avionics. Sorry.

"I am doubtful the Russians are going to be able to keep the planes flying for long without western repairs and replacement parts."

Russia is in bed with Cheyna --- the masters of Intellectual Property theft.

Obviously Brandon hasn’t take that into account.

It is extremely embarrassing to watch the Biden administration getting ran over by Vlads car, like a raccoon crossing a busy highway. Road kill. Senile Joe is being checkmated by a Vlad with every move. God help us.

“God help us.”

Like you, probably, I am just extremely disappointed at how many here are drinking the Kool Aid media and actually believe that the West has ANY LEVERAGE against a country responsible for supplying the world a huge percentage of its raw materials. People here seem to think that critical materials will simply arrive on barges, even if there’s no one on the other side of the ocean to fill those barges.

Not likely to be able to do that.

We’ll see how smart it is when they start crashing or getting grounded for lack of parts and maintenance.

Exactly, but there is much more. Sanctions ( illegal in my eyes- never voted on by Congress) just dethroned the USD as the world’s currency. Trillions of unwanted dollars will soon be “ returned” to the US. The effects will be devastating.

The demand for the Yuan , Ruble, and gold is now increasing. The Ruble has quickly recovered all losses and expected to GAIN!

Two of our largest banks were heavily invested in Russia, and “ created” supplied default insurance instruments which some say exceed 300 billion dollars, much going on behind the scenes. The Fed( the bank of last resort) is now supplying $250 billion a night in loans because banks are not loaning to each other. The same happened just before the 08 crash.

The Ukrainian war cheerleaders who support our involvement have been duped once again. The worst part is the damage can not be undone. The world ( read the Indian Finance Ministers speech) is shocked by a weaponized USD and is dropping its use as quickly as they can find alternatives, which they are.

Again, Senile Joe was just ran over by Vlads car, like raccoon road kill…..
at every turn Vlad says Checkmate.

Yeah, if you want to replace bespoke avionics from a Boeing 787 with something salvaged from a Tu-144.

“The rest are Russian made IL 96 and Sukoi , been flying for years, reliable, built like tanks.”

You say built like Russian tanks as if that is a good thing.
