They did pay for some of it though. The hardware is already in place to perform the function. Just need the software key.

Your analogy is false. Evidently you think that software (which may have required a greater R&D investment than the hardware) should be free. Do yourself a favor and don’t learn to code, because I suspect you wouldn’t like working for nothing.

Exactly. You also get to pay for hauling that motor you can't use along with you. Subscription services like this are evil IMO
