I tried to tell people in my family about their social media, over 10 years ago. I tried to explain data aggregation. They shrugged and said it’s a little crazy but understandable. It’s just for marketing. Yes, until they get hacked or leaked, I said.
I tried to explain why I don’t submit to 23&me or any of those, like 5 years ago. They said, but it’s so interesting, and it seems harmless. I asked, have you ever heard of “biometrics”? Do you know what the future of biometrics will look like? What will happen after the hacks and leaks?

Really? Ever heard of Target? How about United Health care?
It’s all pretty much already out there anyway at this point, but it’s use and abuse is only going to get worse.
In the US many of the DNA firms are Mormon owned and operated outfits. I do agree that the COVID tests were a DNA harvesting gimmick from which there will be as much harm as good.
