I’m only supposed to recharge my laptop battery to 80%? That explains why the battery life is so short now.

You must not have any money, because if you did, there would be markets supplying your every wish.

Lap tops with removable batteries are what I miss. Hard reset.

Apple is not going to re-design the iPhone so the battery is user replaceable. They will exit the iPhone market in the EU if they are forced to do that re-design.

I have an old cheapo Acer PC—not in very good shape—but has certain programs I still use off-line—and occasionally it starts acting up and the battery removal hard reset is exactly what is needed.

You are behind the times. They log gps coordinates on device and track Bluetooth locations via proximity to nearby cellphones. The phones themselves create their own daisy chain Bluetooth network independently of cellular networks. All this data is logged and can be transmitted later when the battery is reinserted.

The GPS receiver isn't working when the battery is removed.

I turn my GPS off except when I need it myself.

Admit it. You want big government to make people do what you want. What an absolute ass you are.

Oh gee, lots of people would like cell phones where the batteries can be simply and quickly changed out if necessary.

But according to you, that makes all these people big government supporters? Right slick?

You are completely insane. Why does anyone have to sell you something they don’t want to sell you? How are you going to make them? By getting your government to make laws? You don’t see what bullshit this is? It doesn’t matter how many people want something, if it is not theirs, it is not theirs. Crybabies!

Oh sure, I’m insane now because I think it would be a good idea to be able to simply and quickly change out a cell phone battery, rather than being stuck with a cell phone with bad battery, making it as useful as a rock. And according to you, this makes me a big government supporter.

Just brilliant!

Go buy a phone that has replaceable batteries. Don’t rant and rave to big government that you want laws to make all manufacturers have replacement batteries.

You are insane. You deny that you want laws to make all phones have replaceable batteries, and you insist that the government require replaceable batteries. That is insane. You are insane. You do want big government, and you want them to work for you.
