Yes, they sure would. I have (from new) a 1975 Colt Trooper MKIII .357 Mag, 6" barrel. It's a canon. I bought it day after I was robbed and shot, on 7/14/75, in West Palm Beach, as I and my fiance were leaving a legendary steak house, Tropical Acres. I was in South Miami hospital hospital trauma center overnight.
.32cal bullet missed all organs/nerves/arteries/veins/bones etc, and stopped inside pelvis, right at lower spine. Trauma doc said, "You're the luckies SOB I've ever seen in 20yrs of running trauma centers, all over the US".,
You are very lucky, pelvis hits often cause bleed-outs and death.
Glad you made it, you have fine taste in revolvers. I have a few semi-autos, but really like a nice revolver still.
