The computer repair shop guy made a number of copies and gave them out. Then Rudy made a number of copies also. Somebody in China has a copy, because they're the only ones putting the underage hooker videos on line.

Gaetz's point is not that the laptop is lost, the point is only that it's "lost" to the FBI, who are trying as hard as they can not to look at what's on it.
