I’m sure this and other similar videos will get wide circulation in Russia and will likely have the hardening effect you mention. I’m surprised we’re seeing this video in the West, however. It got by the “gatekeepers” somehow.

You are on target here. The videos are everywhere, and there are others too, for example, now there is a video of the ruins of the Theatre in Mariupol that was blown up by Azov Nazis — with hostages. Russians found burned down bodies there.

What Ukes did removes lingering doubts that their fight is indeed with the Nazis.

This greatly reduces already slim chances of any kind of peace deal and will definitely result in fewer Azov people and mercs being taken prisoner.

The alleged source is a series of Telegram accounts controlled by some individual Azov battalion fighters. This could be Russian propaganda, but right now, my bet is that these are mostly genuine. It's consistent with the Azov's past behavior, not just this year, but over the past several years in eastern Ukraine as well.

But if this is what it appears to be, it got past the gatekeepers because the Ukrainians making the videos wanted these images to be circulated. Sick puppies.
