I’m Gen X and my generation (maybe all generations) just aren’t watching movies anymore as they aren’t all that good anymore—even the ones that AREN’T leftist.
We watch and discuss Netflix Hulu etc produced series like Breaking Bad, Yellowstone, The Queen’s Gambit, The Crown, The Dropout (about Silicon Valley fraud), etc.
My teen daughter will go to the movie theater to watch Marvel movies but that’s it.
I’ll bet the Will Smith and Chris Rock incident got a lot of views.

I read an article about Toby Keith’s business empire. He was opening a Bar and Restaurant in Los Vegas. He was going over the menu with advisors. He was crossing off fancy dishes and replacing it with items like fried cat fish etc. He told the advisors, my fans are hard working people. They are coming here to relax on vacation and we need to give them food they enjoy. He knows his audience and fan base, Hollywood is drifting further from there fan base. It won’t bode well.
Even without the slap and Smith screaming obscenities, what did they expect with that trio of hostesses?!
The whole Hollywood spectacle is now something grotesque instead of classy, perverse instead of entertaining, and disturbing rather than magical.
People have and will continue to reject pumping this filth into their homes through the television set.
It’s not only sewage; it’s smug, unfunny, elitist, violent, and perverse sewage that wants to ridicule you (while assaulting anyone who ridicules them) and have sex with your children.
