Putin should have gone to the UN and asked for peace keeping troops. Put blue helmets on the Swiss or the Brazilians or the Nigerians and drop them in the middle of this **** show.
Maybe the UN would finally do something that’s worth a damn. But he didn’t. He decided to blatantly violate the UN Charter, something the Russians signed on to btw, and engage in an illegal war of conquest.
And in case you haven’t noticed Putin didn’t stop at Donblas. If he had maybe your argument would hold some water. But, once again, he didn’t. It’s hard to make the case that “liberating” those regions required a full scale invasion of the entire country.

We don’t have UN permission for the war in Syria. We didn’t get it for the 2 month bombing of Kosovo. And instead of peacekeepers from Africa, how about the nazis just stop attacking people who opted out of the coup in Kiev.
