The trucking industry flies under the radar, both here and around the world. They are essential.
Currently truckers are on strike in Spain. A couple of years back I was in Germany ... truckers on the autobahn must shut down for 24 hours from midnight Saturday to midnight Sunday. Exception, perishable goods in refrigerated trailers. Every roadblock possible is thrown up at truckers ... the tide is turning ... the trucking companies, and individual owner operators are ready to tell petty federal & state entities to stick it big time.

With diesel fuel and fertilizer shortages, expect the farmers to join the truckers in protesting.
