It's not surprising that he is a writer for 'Vanity Fair'.
the unrest and destruction that occurred after the killing [emphasis mine] of George Floyd. No, George Floyd killed himself by overdosing on drugs.
Groups of protesters shattered windows up and down the retail corridors of downtown and emptied many of the stores of their merchandise. The non-propaganda statement is "Rioters shattered windows up and down the retail corridors of downtown and looted many of the stores." They were rioters, not protesters and they weren't just emptying stores of their merchandise, they were looting.
The Democrats in office in Seattle are guilty of aiding and abetting the rioting and looting. They're guilty of aiding and abetting those who killed people at the "autonomous zone". They're also guilty of covering it up since then. ALL video, especially from body cameras, is publicly owned but has been squelched.
Agree. This author is a liberal reality denier.
There is a good chance you are right, but FWIW the autopsy said his cause of death was homicide. The author brings up the subject only to point out that Seattle cops did not cheer Floyd's death, as the rioters apparently believed.
