mRNA isn’t an experiment. mRNA has been in development since the 1970s.

The idea that we should have spent another 10 years in testing is just a stalking horse argument used by the anti-vaxxer’s to delay the vaccines. There’s no amount of testing or research that will convince the anti-vaxxers. Over 11 Billion doses have been given. Millions of lives have been saved. The anti-vaxxers are running out of arguments. (I love their latest. The unvaccinated are ‘pure bloods’. Does that have just a hint of racism?)
mRNA is a technology. The experiment was the application of the technology recently formulated then administered on a massive scale.
