Consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, just as it says. This means that Mary, the Mother of God, will especially pray for Russia and Ukraine.
We ask that Russia convert, to turn away from sin, just as we each should always do, even Ukraine. We ask for protection for Ukraine, but protection against “the wickedness and snares of the devil” for Russia and all the rest of us as well.
Yes, the Catholic Church teaches that the Orthodox have valid sacraments. This is because the acts of consecration and ordination have not been altered to render them invalid, and the line of succession, whereby the laying on of His hands onto the Apostles has been passed down. This had always been the stance of the CC.
It does not mean the Orthodox are in good standing, according to the Catholic Church. It’s like saying someone is a good driver even if he doesn’t have a license: it’s not the license that makes him a good driver.
I don’t think this is a collision: even a stopped clock...
Red Herrings on your part.
Other countries are predominantly Orthodox yet other countries weren’t consecrated. Mother Mary hasn’t called for any to be consecrated except for Rusdia.
Why if they don’t need to convert according to V2?
If they need to then other Orthodox countries need to convert and thus the consecration is a call for conversion by Mother Mary.
Thus Vatican II is false, heretical, and I’m not Orthodox and the TLM is valid, which pagan Pachapapa Francis attacks.
