I’ve been going into a local animal shelter website here https://www.young-williams.org/adopt/dogs/ for several months now. Always 75% or more of the dogs there are Pits. Always at least 50 Pits each time I check. I am assuming Free Ranging Pits picked up to re-home. I’ve been trying to find a Ratty aka Rat Terrier {Feist} to train as my service dog {hearing loss 40% VA rated} with n luck. Plenty of Pits out there though and I do not trust any of them.
At the Norfolk, VA animal shelter it would appear at least 50% of the cats are part Pit Bull.
