The punishment for whatever they were doing had to be worse than jumping out the window.
I think the punishment could be jail for the parents and loss of custody of the kids. Probably lose your job and home since incarcerated. Maybe they were trying to escape to another balcony? Sad. I’m sure we are heading that direction with the takeover of our government/elections. Just a matter of time.
I’m going to say that they were at gun point and as they were walking backwards till the balcony ended and the swedishnazi’s kept coming at the Family possibly nudging with the muzzle of an MP5 until over the edge they went.
