My 1st husband always said illicit drug use was a self-cancelling problem since most heavy users didn’t last more than a few years before they died-either OD’d or something caused by it. At the risk of sounding cold-he was absolutely right-some people really don’t want to be saved-so let’s stop enabling them/rewarding destructive behaviors by making it possible for them to off themselves in comfort with free needles, health care, etc-maybe some of them would get serious about rehab if they didn’t have a safety set...

...but I just can’t manage to give a rat’s rump about what happens to IV drug users because of what they do to themselves.

Taking any drug other than what is prescribed for medical reasons is a CHOICE. Bad choices frequently have bad outcomes.

I wouldn’t call you any of those - and I think the American public is sick and tired of cattering to these people.

They all should be gathered up off the streets where they are nothing but a menace and danger to others. Build ‘uncomfortable’ facilities and put them there. If they live or die that’s the breaks.

I think it is the History channel that does the series on drug trafficking and using. They had a series on this particular drug and it was being videoed in the Ukraine....

Unbelievable crap that was being used to create this drug and the equally unbelievable results on the human body by the long term users.........
