No. They actually accelerated missile diagnostics and trial/error on telemetry and guidance control of aspects of SRBMs and IRBM technology that could be applied to ICBM within tests, while suspending the actual ICBM as window dressing. They also, despite the love letters and all the other naive bullshit continued their nuke material production and blew up one obsolete facility for show only. They also surrendered not a single warhead nor any inventory or schedule, despite all the hype. Pompeo and Trump completely played these incessant launches and violations of U.N. resolutions (and N/S Korea agreements) down from May 2019 and the collapse of their talks in Stockholm. Bolton, Coats and many other national security professionals called it correctly from the very start and were rejected or fired. Now the bill is simply coming due 18 months later another equally incompetent administration. All that we see today had upstream work all throughout the previous presidency. These things don’t happen overnight, Biden perceived weakness notwithstanding.
