Two Philadelphia pit bull owners were caught unleashing their dogs on a helpless family cat, named Buddy, in Philadelphia on Tuesday
One man can be seen drawing his dog's attention to the cat before dropping its leash, and the other man follows suit
The men laugh, one yelling 'Get him' and 'Good boy' as their dogs maul the cat
Buddy is currently in critical condition, and the Pennsylvania SPCA is taking donations for his extensive medical needs
He survived the night, the representatives from the agency are '(very) cautiously optimistic' that he will pull through
If caught, the men could face up to seven years behind bars for felony animal fighting and animal cruelty charges

I’m not going to watch the video, as I don’t need to see a cat mauled.
I do hope the perps are caught and given stiff sentences.
Maybe they can trip up and down a flight of stairs a couple dozen times.
I had a cat called Monday who was torn apart by some pitbulls. I hate pitbulls. They’re ugly just like their owners.
I see the two “men” are members of a protected species.
If I learned I had a limited amount of time to live I’m not sure who I’d make it a point to say goodbye to.
Oh yes, the Amish are at it again.
Turnabout is fair play. Death by a thousand cat scratches over a thousand days.
“ see the two “men” are members of a protected species.”
I knew that just from the headline
Same here. Two loose dogs killed our kitten. The dogs did not survive when I hit the door with a shotgun. The owner of the dogs was not happy.
Naggers.
The only reason I’d have shot the dogs first was to protect the cat. The two legged IQ 40 jungle knuckle draggers would be next. Like stomping on worthless cock-a-roaches.
I hope their dogs are taken away and they are charged with animal abuse.
I despair for my grandchildren’s future, as I believe that these twisted, evil, subhuman pavement apes will only multiply and spread throughout our society, inflicting widespread pain and death.
What’s up my Nickle?
Didn’t Jackie Chan use that line in Rush Hour?
I’ve never actually seen that movie. It’s possible.
That sure would be too bad if that were to happen.
I had a cute kitten killed by a pregnant pit bull that had broke into my backyard. My kids were young then, and wanted me to shoot the dog, but I told rhem that’s what some dogs do. The dog kept looking in the window and wouldn’t leave so I finally put her in an empty dog run. Called the pound next morning and the guy was surprised I didn’t want to keep a pregnant pit bull. I told him she killed one of my cats, and I also have small kids, so she’s lucky to be alive.
Yes, he did, and the ensuing fight scene was hilarious.
Could the owners be composted?
