Keep in mind the target of Kubrick's movie, "Eyes Wide Shut" and the 24 minutes removed from the original film - the elites - some refer to as the Illuminati. The story related by a long-time assistant was a verbal barrage broke out in the hallway following the initial viewing of Eyes Wide Shut by Warner Brothers executives - days before he died. The 24 minutes were supposed to have been removed by someone other than Kubrick after this incident.

Stanley Kubrick died on March 7, 1999, which was exactly 666 days before January 1, 2001 - the date that opened the year of the film he is most noted for, the iconic film, "2001 A Space Odyssey".
