I have the perfect antidote to the old "kids going to school in the dark" canard.

Just make school hours 10 am to 4 pm

That way, they get daylight all year round unless they happen to be up in the polar circle.

Schools can’t be 10 to 4 as parents with typical one hour commutes need to be in an office (at least some days of the week) at 8 am. Also after school sports practice needs some daylight….

who goes to school anymore?
My neighborhood is chock full of kids outside during school hours, even before spring break.
Break from what i don’t know.

I like daylight savings time. Living in the Pac NW, that extra hour of daylight after work really is a mood lifter. I don’t see children walking to school anymore. Either the parents drive them to school or they take the school bus with a parent staying with them while they wait for the bus.
Parenting has changed from when I was a child.

I have the perfect antidote to the "daylight protection" nonsense. Just do everything one hour earlier throughout the summer and leave the clocks alone.

Lol! You're advocating standard time without the clock change!
