Making DST permanent, might as well just switch AM and PM.
9:25 AM will henceforth be known as 9:25 PM, and vice versa.

The time on a clock makes no diff. Humanity adjusts to starting their daily activities according the sunrise, and getting ready for bedtime some time after sunset.

The time on the clock is supposed to be coordinated with nigh noon over Greenwich, England. That is the International Time Line; and, provides the reference for global longitude. As such, clock time is not arbitrary

Wouldn't it be better to adjust business hours to suit?
