Itβs crazy all around right now.
Thanks for the ping! Prayers for all in storm path. My area in West Texas is dodging it.
I graduated from high school about 100 NW of there and went to college at OU in Norman...been there done that.
Also keep in mind that before Doppler Radar it is very likely that dozens if not hundreds of tornadoes were missed that touche down in rural areas that went unnoticed and cause no damage.
Stay safe Allegra.
Thanks! So far, so good here. Are you in the region?
Dang. Eastbound and down. Headed my way later.
Our son is visiting DFW this week. FW...I think.
We are in AL. We have this crap to look forward to. /s
Weather Channel said all the students are safe
Prayers ππππ UP for all y’all !!
Please take cover - great post by our resident meteorologists following the storms.
I hope your son is monitoring it. I looks like the DFW area is pretty active right now.
And I hope yβall in Alabama donβt get it like this. I know it can get bad there, too.
We would head west on I-40 towards El Reno or down towards Chickasha and Lawton on the H E Baily. Seems like all the threatening storms formed there then moved towards OKC...after going through Moore.
Thanks!
I live in Northeast Fort Worth and the local weather guy was hyperventilating over a potential tornado. Had all my important papers, my computer, and cell phone and hunkered down in the laundry room. First, however, I had to call my daughter and tell her I loved her because we had a disagreement about politics last night and we both hung up in a huff. Will we stop arguing about politics? I doubt it.
Bless your heart. π Hope y’all are OK.
Got some decent pics of a double rainbow about 30 minutes ago.
