This is the same thing Repubs do for everything. They accept the false premises of the Left and only argue WITHIN that paradigm.
E.G., not just that homos are “OK” but that saying climate change even is bad is accepting their stupid premise. Conservs tend to fight not that there is CC or that it is automatically “bad” but they argue only about whether “man is responsible”. NO. we should be arguing the entire premise.
You are correct, and this is key to understanding how the left controls the language.
I excelled both in science and in theology. I refuse (except in quotation marks) to use either “gay” or “homosexual” terms when referring to such persons. There is no such thing as biologically functional human sexuality between two persons of the same binary sex (i.e., XY or XX). The very scientific concept of sexuality derives from reproduction (versus asexual reproduction).
Fifty years ago, arrogant secular scientists proclaimed that sex (i.e., the act) is all and only about spreading the genes in the pool, and that love is merely an illusory biochemical motivation to do so. They focused solely on biologically functional sex between a sexually mature male and female; anything else - including homoeroticism - was irrelevant. (I know this first-hand because I was a Biology major at the time.)
Whatever takes place between two persons of the same sex is inherently non-functional. It may derive from perverted sexual impulses, but it absolutely is not sex (i.e., authentic intercourse). Such behaviors are merely a form of eroticism. There are no homosexuals; they are homoerotics.
Conservatives have a disconcerting tendency to allow leftists to define the terms of the debate before the debate begins, and then argue within those parameters. In so doing, they yield vital debating territory to the enemy.
Similarly, when conservatives accept the word “gender” in place of sex, they are conceding valuable territory to the enemy. Gender is linguistic and variable, depending upon the language; sex is biological and binary. (Genetic aberrations are just that: aberrations.)
An example from a different subject is “suicide bomber”: A person can easily commit suicide with a bomb without endangering anyone else. Such persons are homicide/genocide bombers.
