“Nope, I cannot support the likes of Soros, Romney, HRC, bidEn, bush, kerry, pelosi, obama, macron, greta, castreau, Clowns In America, nor the MSM.“

Why reflexively be for or against something based on what they may think?
If they say that eating dog manure is unhealthy, I won’t automatically say eating dog poop is a good thing.

I don’t need them to set my agenda.

There are videos of several Russian helicopters being towed away from the airport...obviously not in flying condition...truly odd to see them not on transporters by running on landing gear.....

Speculation I saw about that was Russian transport was in a hurry to get outta Dodge before receiving fire, and they probably slowed to a crawl once out of artillery range to delay any return trip.

So far the Ukrainian government has done a pretty good job of reigning in their citizens.

I see posts online with people tut tutting about collaborators and looters being cling-wrapped to utility poles and some whipped.

That's pretty mild treatment in this situation.

Understand. I’m old enough.

I was bamboozled too way back then. We’ve been lied to too often, and it’s becoming more obvious to an increasing number of People and citizens alike.

“Great. Now don’t have to give Ukraine any more money or weapons”

I once met a man who ran out of fuel on the side of the road. He explained to me that his car was cruising along at 60 and since it was running fine he felt no need to put more fuel in.

Oh wait, I never met anyone like that because no one would be so dumb to believe that was how things work.

Bravo! Completely agree. So sick of people saying the bad guys support it, therefore it must be bad. they (Soros, MSM etc) probably support it for all the wrong reasons, but that doesnt mean there are no good reasons to support Ukraine! Some people on FR just arent thinking these days!

We do have a dog - grain.

You mustn't point that out to the Putin good/Ukraine bad proponents.

But, the material goods are not even being considered by those that only think about war is bad, and Zelenskyy bad.

“I suspect the Russians withdrew units from around Nikolayev and Kherson to support the assault on Mariupol. So the Ukrainians have made gains in both areas.”

Yes the Russians are not so dumb that they are not learning from their mistakes. Attacking on six fronts left Russia at a disadvantage on all of them.

Now they are concentrating everything in the east where they can have numerical superiority over the Ukrainians.

US Department of State Dispatch, January, 1994
The US-Russia-Ukraine Trilateral Statement and Annex were signed on 14 January, 1994 in Moscow by Presidents Clinton, Yeltsin and Kravchuk. The Statement and Annex:

provided for the transfer of all nuclear weapons on the territory of Ukraine to Russia for dismantlement;
specified prompt compensation by Russia to Ukraine for the highly-enriched uranium in the transferred weapons;
provided for security assurances by the US, Russia and United Kingdom to
Ukraine on Ukraine’s accession to the Non-Proliferation Treaty as a non-nuclear weapon state; and
reaffirmed the US commitment to assist the safe and secure dismantlement of nuclear forces through the Cooperative Threat Reduction (Nunn-Lugar) program.

The provisions of the Trilateral Statement and Annex are being implemented. When they were signed, there were some 1900 strategic nuclear warheads in Ukraine, most of which were on SS-19 and SS-24 ICBMs targeted at the US. As of June 1, there are none. (In addition, in 1991-92, some 2500 tactical nuclear weapons were transferred from Ukraine to Russia.) There were far more nuclear warheads on the territory of Ukraine than in any country other than the United States or Russia.

Russia is dismantling the removed nuclear warheads and has provided Ukraine compensation for the strategic nuclear warheads in the form of fuel rods for civilian nuclear power plants in Ukraine. These fuel rods are being delivered according to a schedule agreed to by Russia and Ukraine.

On December 5, 1994, Ukraine acceded to the Non-Proliferation Treaty as a non-nuclear weapon state. On that same date, the US, Russia and United Kingdom provided security assurances to Ukraine, and the START
I Treaty also entered into force.

Perhaps the same thing with the amphibious troops that were sitting in ships off Odesa. A Russian naval infantryman was captured near Mariupol.

It may be that the Russian ships that were off the coast of Odesa in anticipation of an amphibious landing later seen in port in Crimea, off-loaded their troops which were added to the land forces.

thread from the Conflict Intelligence Team:
https://twitter.com/CITeam_en/status/1505932684547219457

1. Russian military ships off the coast of Odesa are shelling the city.

Fears of a naval landing have persisted since before the invasion, the plans seen in both Western maps and revealed Russian ones.

But does Russia still have the landing force?

2.Per Ukrainian publication @Graty_me, the Crimea-based 810th Naval Infantry Brigade did conduct a minor landing near Kherson, after which many servicemen refused to go into Ukraine.

Those refusals were confirmed by a prisoner from the unit.

3. Interestingly, he was taken prisoner near Mariupol.

This, together with videos and photographs of marine-type APCs in the area, suggests that the Crimea marines are indeed fighting on land in Ukraine.

4. Other Russian marine units like the 155th Brigade from Vladivostok and 336th Brigade from Kaliningrad were also involved in the pre-invasion build-up, but captured papers and a killed serviceman indicate they are also fighting on land in Ukraine.

5. Thus, a Russian naval landing requires either transferring other Naval Infantry brigades to the border, pulling out the ones battered in the current fighting, or assembling a ragtag invasion force from various smaller and leftover units.

6. Even if Russia had the forces for a naval landing, analysts and Odesa’s authorities believe that it is only viable as part of a combined operation when/if a Russian land force reaches Odesa (which is a prospect that is growing more distant)

7. Given all of the above, we assess the prospects of a naval landing in Odesa highly unlikely, even though not impossible.

We will still continue monitoring this situation closely.

“Some people on FR just arent thinking these days!“

Yep.
Or if a planet killing asteroid is headed for earth. And we know it, it’s not just a theory.
Soros says we should should send one of Elon Musks spaceships up with a nuclear warhead to try and deflect it so it doesn’t hit earth .
Will I automatically be against that?
No.

I’ll add this: A map captured from a Russian officer (with OCR’d labels added), it looks like there was an amphibious landing planned for Ochakov southeast of Odesa that didn’t happen

Nope... we can be on the side of good this time around and help the Ukrainians repel the orcs. The Ukes won’t submit to having their wives and children raped this time around.

Yup. The bad guys (Soros, MSM, etc) want to control Ukraine. But that doesn't mean that they are in full control of Ukraine. And it doesn't mean that the 44 million people of Ukraine should accept an invasion from Putin.

We've got a bad guy problem here in the US that is worse than in Ukraine. Yet who here would settle for Putin invading our country?
