Calling them a “nothing burger” is disingenuous.
I know someone who survived a shot to the head without any long lasting damage, does that make being shot to the head a nothing burger?
I also know a 92 year old cancer patient who got Covid 19 and was fine a week later, never had a vax of any sort for it.
Biodiversity and law of averages make it impossible for ANYTHING to be 100% safe and effective when it comes to vaccinations. Even the oldest and most tested ones out there have people who have bad reactions to them... the question is simply how many will, and how bad it will be.
If 99.999% are fine and .001% die... that’s a low percentage, but its not a NOTHING percentage.
When the risk for the disease killing you is .00001% and the risk of critical problems or death from the vaccine is .001%, that means the vaccine is 100 times more likely to harm. you than the illness. That’s not a NOTHING BURGER.
That’s the problem with this, the risk of this disease to anyone under the age of 60 in good health is trivial, and if they are a child under 18, it can’t get any closer to zero statistically then it is... The regular flu is actually more likely to kill a child than Covid.
Pushing these vaccines to be universal is obscene and abhorrent. To top it off they are LYING about the risk of the vaccine. They claim the risk of Myocarditis is 1 in 13000 from these vaccines... I call absolute BS on this. I personally know 3 people who have been diagnosed with this after the jab, and 1 who has gotten pericarditis.
Now that means either I am one of the luckiest people on the planet, or they are LYING about the risks. If you assume I know personally 200 people that means the odds of me personally knowing 1 person who got myocarditis would be 1 in 65... the odds of me knowing 3 would be 1 in 274,625... Now if I know 100 people, the odds would be 1 in 2,197,000.. So forgive me if I call absolute BS on their claims of risk.
Furthermore, the CDC’s data has NEVER jived with other nations published data for risks, like Israel and the UK... the CDC data has always been so far away from the data coming out of nations like that, that is been laughable... And this has been glaring and obvious for the last year... LONG BEFORE THE CDC FINALLY ADMITTED THEY WERE WITHOLDING DATA.
So yes, glad you had the shots, and you are fine, and if I was 82, you are well within the age range where the statistical odds of having a complication or even death from Covid are reasonably high, however universal vaccination is INSANE for a disease that literally is nearly a ZERO risk to healthy individuals under the age of 60... let alone a vaccination with technologies never before used on humans.
