I had a male patient come in the ED with a vibrator (still vibrating) in his rectum...by the time we got him in the procedure room and had him sedated, it had stopped vibrating. But it took a while to lasso it using a colonoscope and a snare as it kept traveling up the colon. It took us about 25-30 minutes of maneuvering to be able to grab it and pull it out. The guy claimed he was in town on business and met a woman in a bar...and it was her idea to shove the vibrator up his poop chute. Begged us not to tell his wife...of course, we can’t tell her because of HIPPA. Usually, these cases turn out okay...as long as the vibrator doesn’t stay in so long that the battery starts leaking.

It's amazing, the high quality people you can meet in a Manilla bar.
