That was in the military with a guy that grew up down the road from Slim Whitman of course I didn’t believe him until I went to his house outside of Jacksonville off of Highway 10. sure enough he showed me the house and I saw the mailbox and I was a believer.
My buddy said Slim was a really good guy.
